The Deen Show: Why I left the Baptist church and became a Muslim in Islam (Video)

info-pictogram1 Meet Mr. Dexter who was part of the Baptist Church but after very deep contemplation about life and what he had been taught growing up as a child and wondering about “who do you pray to” Jesus, Holy Ghost or God. He then decided after meeting a Muslim and being so impressed with the Muslims kindness, character and humility that he would look into ISLAM. After looking into Islam he loved the clear and simple concept of only Worshiping the Creator alone and not any of His creations and it’s simple message of how to attain peace and purpose in life. He also loved that Islam was fact based and provided so much authentic evidence to prove that it was the truth.

When we compare our lifespans, wherein our lives unfold, to the age of the earth or to the visible universe of nearly fourteen billion years, it seems less significant than a drop of water in an endless ocean. To today’s materialists, life holds little significance beyond that of selfish genes and chance mutations (or of exploitation and unfettered consumption). To believers in Allah and His Oneness (tawhid), however, life is seen as a rich tapestry of signs and an arena of tests that grant us the opportunity of knowing Allah and of worshiping Him. I only created jinn and men, stresses Allah in the Qur’an,that they may worship Me. [51:56]

Assalamualaykum. I reverted to Islam on 4th June,2012. Alhamdulillah. I’m Vietnamese-Japanese

I was born in an atheist Family, which has been worshiping our ancestors. Well, Atheist also have some beliefs, but rather then belief I will call it more of a old tradition and culture. But I was never comfortable with it, as it made no sense to me. I never thought that i was getting blessed by doing it.
