Source: rt.com

Israeli society is sick with violence – says Israeli President Rivlin.

Israel is suffering from an epidemic of violence that must be treated, the country’s President said. After the latest bloody conflict in Gaza, Jews and Arabs seem to have lost the capacity for dialogue, as relations have reached a new low.

“It is time to honestly admit that Israeli society is sick – and it is our duty to treat this disease,” Rivlin told the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities at a xenophobia conference on Sunday in Jerusalem.

The Deen Show: Story of a Miracle and how to heal a Broken Heart – Famous Actor Robin Williams (Video)

info-pictogram1 This is an interesting story about what I considered a Miracle right under my nose. Many people have experienced the same thing happening to them but some times we take these things for granted and don’t really reflect about these amazing blessings in our lives so that we can gain tremendous benefits by becoming more grateful and thankful in life. I’ll also be talking about the Broken Heart that many people are suffering from which in turn drives them towards Alcohol, Drugs, and further into despair and eventually suicide as we just witnessed with the famous Actor Robin Williams. Please Enjoy and share.

“We watch so many movies that pictures we see from Gaza are almost the same concept, just a dead body behind a screen”

People are desensitized to pictures from Gaza’s massacres now.” Wait what? Allow me to say something. Growing up in the west, the only massacres we’ve seen are massacres in movies. We watch so many movies that pictures we see from Gaza are almost the same concept, just a dead body behind a screen. So we didn’t just get desensitized, most of us have always been desensitized. To the people who keep telling me do not share. I know and understand where you’re coming from, and I will try to take your advice. Please understand I’m currently fighting between my emotions and my professionalism. But I grew up across the street from Al-Shifa Hospital. The sirens of the ambulances used to wake us up almost every morning. My friends and I used to always play in Al-Shifa’s garden. And we’ve witnessed all these images in real life. And when you witness these things in real life, it’s a total different story than just a picture. After seeing bodies come through the doors of al-shifa doors, then I would go home to check the news, I saw absolutely nothing. The news always hid the killings in Gaza just like they are hiding many oppressions happening now in Syria, Burma and Pakistan. So I got angry, and I still am. I promised to show the world what the eyes of Gaza see everyday. Because when you see the pictures online, there is a whole story behind the picture, not just a dead body. There was love, happiness, compassion, dreams, goals that were killed when the soul left that body. Do not just look at how horrible the picture looks, the concept is far more greater than that.

I hope you understand.

Palestinian children in Gaza are exposed to more violence in their lifetime than any other people

Palestinian children in Gaza are exposed to more violence in their lifetime than any other people, any other children, anywhere in the world. If you look at a child right now who is 10 years old, they’ve been through Cast Lead in 2008-2009, the invasion in 2012, now the invasion and destruction in 2014, in addition to the siege. If you look at the statistics for example, even before Cast Lead, 80% of Palestinian children in Gaza had witnessed some sort of violence against themselves, a friend or a family member. And now you’re getting to the point where probably close to 99% of children in Gaza are being exposed to a level of violence where they have seen family members be killed, murdered, burned alive – there’s nothing like the levels of traumatic exposure that any child in the world has ever been exposed to on a chronic and daily basis.
