Shaykh Hasan Ali delivers a talk on the topic ‘The 6 Lives of the Soul’ at the ‘The Journey of the Soul’ Conference held at The Waterlily, Mile End.
Very fascinating topic that everybody in the world should watch, especially if you are a #Music lover and listen to anyone of these celebrity musicians such as the Beetles,Rihanna, Led Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Jay-Z, #Beyonce, Katy Perry, Bon Jovi, Kid Rock, 50 Cent, or anyone else not mentioned but that sings the same tune.
It just makes sense! That’s what you’ll be saying after you learn about the day of Judgement in ISLAM. Many benefits to be gained from learning about this topic and how to prepare for it.
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The most hated man (person) to Allah is the one who is the most quarrelsome of the opponents.” [Sahih Bukhari]
Quarreling never settles disputes. Extricate yourself from quarrels as soon as possible. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) does not like either of quarreling opponents, but the more quarrelsome one is the more hated to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala).
Keep this checklist in mind if a quarrel seems to be in the offing:
1. Let your opponent have the last word (ostensibly). In reality, the one who is quiet is the one who is defended eloquently by angels.
2. Stop trying to prove that you’re right.
3. Accept blame where the fault is yours.
4. State your position just once and then listen.
5. Before the blaming becomes unbearable, politely, either change the topic or physically leave the place of argument.
6. Remember that all cases will be reopened and settled on the Day of Judgement, and on that day none will be able to lie, trick or deceive in any way, to support their position.
Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem – I seek refuge in God from Satan which is accursed
Bismillah-ir Rahman-ir Raheem – In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! Thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright.”
An Open Letter to Atheist Muslims
By: Joe Bradford
Dear Self Described Atheist Muslims, Let’s start with what I am not going to do.
I am not going to accuse you of never knowing anything about Islam. Most of you have grown up in Muslim families, attended Muslim Sunday school, gone to Muslim summer camp, etc. You know the drill and the day to day of what many Muslims experience, especially in a communal sense. Also, I will not accuse you of being sympathetic to the bigotry and hatred projected towards Muslims. Despite your self-declared apostasy and atheism, I am sure that when you are in line in the airport, pulled over for a minor traffic violation, or opening an account at a bank, you are wholly identified as an “other” and your “Muslimy” name doesn’t help you in the least. I get it. You are still, like it or not, culturally tied to the community that you have identified with much of your life, despite now rejecting the faith that that community holds dear.
Some people claim that God spoke to them, that they have conversations with God everyday, that God spoke to them directly or that they saw God in a Dream. We will be discussing this important topic on this weeks episode of TheDeenShow to see if this is true or not.
