In a November 8 interview with the UAE channel Alaan TV, former Mufti of Al-Qaeda, Abu Hafs Al-Mauritani, said that the caliphate declared by ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi does not meet the terms dictated by the shari’a. Abu Hafs criticized ISIS for its massacres of Shiites, killing of civilians, and slaughtering of journalists, and added that the split of ISIS from Al-Qaeda was anticipated.

One of the most important reasons for anarchy and depression, two of the greatest problems in today’s societies, is undoubtedly moral degeneration. In the past prophets were sent to nations which were morally degenerated. As a matter of fact, Prophet Muhammad states that he was sent to complete moral virtues (Muvatta, “Husn al-Huluq” 8; Ahmed ibn Hanbal, Musnad, II, 381). We learn from the Quran that the nations which could not save themselves from the vortex of immorality, despite having prophets sent to them, were punished severely with divine retribution.
In today’s world, where science and technology has rapidly developed, where new weapons of mass-destruction are created daily, where the largest share of national budgets has been allocated to the defense industry, there can be no doubt that the importance of ethical values has become increasingly more important.

Four of my books are duly edited and two of them are already published. These four copies have undergone a thorough linguistic screening process and each para had a grave grammatical mistake. My English teacher would have caned me for such mistakes but my readers pardon me because of the value that my writing provides them. I still remember meeting a prominent publisher who told me that even bestselling authors have to get their content corrected from other linguistic experts because sculptors of thoughts may not be technicians of grammar.
We absolutely condemn in the strongest terms any acts of terrorism and any extremism done in the name of Islam and we refuse to associate ourselves with those who practice and condone such behavior and thoughts. There is no Justification In this beautiful and Merciful way of life of ISLAM that was sent as a Mercy for all of mankind to take the life of any innocent Human-Being.

With reports that Israel has agreed to reopen Gaza’s borders, Hamas announced victory and Palestinians, especially in Gaza, are celebrating. Among many Israelis, meanwhile, there is a feeling of bitterness and defeat.
BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — A nine-hour session of indirect negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli delegations in Cairo on Monday ended with a partial draft agreement on easing the blockade on Gaza, sources close to the talks told Ma’an.
Negotiations for a lasting end to hostilities in the Gaza Strip are to resume at noon on Tuesday, the sources said.

We read the stories of suffering, we see the images of death and destruction and our hearts just break, as they should.
However, we have to remember that Allah (‘Azza wa Jall) is in absolute full control of everything that is taking place.
He sees what the tyrants are doing and His punishment is swift and severe.
But the knowledge of the plan is His alone. Its execution will be according to His timetable, not ours.
Remember, Allah isn’t just testing the people of Gaza (and Syria, Burma, China, CAR and other lands), He is testing each and every one of us too.
What will our reaction be, both in terms of action and faith?
