Mindset: Watching television is distasteful to us

Watching television or most of main stream media, including newspapers and many Hollywood movies is very distasteful to us. The mindset that creates much, but not all, of the programming on television and in cinema is abhorrent. It makes people into commodities and promotes violence. It reduces our intelligence and numbs our natural empathetic response to someone in pain.
