But it is hard to believe that there is actually a community spending ever hour of every day out on the open water. The Bajau community charts the waters of the Sulu Sea off the southwestern coast of The Philippines with many going their whole lives without ever setting foot on dry land. In fact, the community only sets foot on land to bury their dead or to construct new boats. And would you believe that they claim to suffer from land sickness when they leave their boats?
