Du’a (supplication) is more likely to be accepted by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as mentioned by Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam), if the correct adab (manner) and etiquette is used. Listed below are some of the etiquettes of du’a.

Any Muslim who supplicates Allah with a supplication that does not contain any sin or cutting off of family relations, Allah will give him one of three things for it:

1. Either He will speedily answer his du’a
2. or He will save it for him until the Hereafter
3. or He will avert something bad from him equal to the value of his du’a.

Science says Men & Women Can’t Be Just Friends (Video)

info-pictogram1 Another one of the beauties of #Islam is that it recognizes this great natural attraction between men and women and gives us the clear guidelines in this matter so that we can keep to a pure , Safe, chaste, and moral life style. This can be a sensitive issue for some people but if you put your emotions to the side and sincerely look at this from a scientific and logical perspective from the studies that have been done on the issue of gender relations, and if you are a God loving and fearing human being you would start to agree more and more with Islam’s special care and protection of women.

Maryam Amirebrahimi: By the Stars they are Guided (Video)

info-pictogram1 The concept of ‘stars’ has always been ascribed to the luminaries and legends of many societies. This simile is found in the modern culture and is likened to actors, athletes, and the like. In the Islamic tradition, the stars are associated with the legends of Islamic history. We need to redefine this simile to the true luminaries and legends of human history: the people of God. By studying their examples of just leadership through times of extreme difficulty, we can implement their methodology of institution-building to construct a virtuous society in our present context. Just like the heavens have stars for terrestrial navigation, so do we have stars for guidance to paradise.

Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the womb (kinship). When historians look back at Muslim rule in India, their perspective greatly shapes the way they present historical characters. Some people are seen as great and enlightened leaders, while others are ruthless tyrants. No one is more controversial than the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir, who ruled from 1658 to 1707.

By Hindus and Sikhs, he is seen as a cruel and ruthless emperor that restricted freedoms and imposed a religiously intolerant regime on the people. By Muslims he is seen as a devoted and religious-minded just sultan. This article will look past the rhetoric about Aurangzeb to understand him as a Muslim ruler in a Hindu-dominated country.

Making the most of the 10 blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah

Source: eislaminfo.blogspot.com

By His wisdom, Allah Ta’ala gave preference to some places and times over others. For Muslims, Friday is the best day of the week, Ramadan is the best month of the year, “Laylat al-Qadr” is the best night in Ramadan, the day of “Arafah” is the best day of the year. Likewise the first ten days of the month of “Dhul-Hijjah” are the blessed days for Muslims.

Allah Ta’ala says in the Quran what means: {By the daybreak, by the ten nights, by the even and the odd,by the passing night – is this oath strong enough for a rational person?} (Al-Fajr 89:1-5)
