There is No Sin in Islam which makes you a Disbeliever (Video)

DOWNLOADBUTTONpasstheknowledge-ptkbannerheadapp

info-pictogram1 It is widely accepted in Islam that there is not even one sin, which when committed, will take you out of the fold of Islam and cause you to be branded a kafir or disbeliever. This includes sins such as drinking alcohol, fornication, adultery, as well as other major sins. Rather it is ones disbelief, which as the name implies, causes one to become a disbeliever. An example would be saying that alcohol is allowed, and denying the verses Allah has revealed in the Quran regarding the prohibition of intoxicants. In this case the person has made halal what Allah has made haram, and rightfully deserves the title of kafir.

Regarding Extremism

“Thus have We Made of you an Ummah justly balanced” [Al-Baqara 2:143]

Ummatan Wasatan can be translated as the middle nation, the best nation, and an Ummah justly balanced. The Phrase captures the essence of Islam, which is to shun all excesses. At other places [e.g. Al-Ma’idah 5:12] the Qur’an refers to the path it shows at as Sawaa as-Sabil. Abdullah Yusuf Ali explains: “The Arabic word sawaa signifies smoothness as opposed to roughness; symmetry as opposed to want of plan; equality or proportion as opposed to want of design; rectitude as opposed to crookedness; a mean as opposed to extremes; and fitness for the object held in view as opposed to faultiness.”

Extremism is a product of ignorance. Given two extreme points on a straight line, anyone can point out where the middle point lies. But a person that cannot see the entire line will also miss the middle point. He may be sitting on an extreme edge, yet congratulate himself for being in the middle.

Apostasy and Freedom of Religion in Islam by Quran

apostasy-in-islam

What does Quran says about Apostasy? What is the punishment for Apostasy in Islam? Does Islam allow the freedom of religion? Is there any punishment for the person who changed his/her religion? This post is going to cover all of you questions regarding to Freedom of Religion and Apostasy in Islam by Quran.

It is fact that Islam is most misunderstood religion of the world. One of the reason behind the fact is “anti Islamic websites” who are more in numbers than Islamic website. Those anti websites provide fake information, half verses of Quran and share the information without any base. The purpose of such websites are to make people hate Islam and its teaching.

Without any commentary and putting my addition words to explain the verse of Quran. I am going to share some verse from Quran which are going to prove that there is no punishment of apostasy in Islam because religion is a person’s own concern which belong to only Allah and only Allah can punishment or reward for the acts which are wholly done for Him.

There is no Compulsion in Religion:

There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. – Quran 2:256

And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? – Quran 10:99

On September 12, 2014, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, a prominent American Muslim scholar, gave a Friday sermon on ISIS. People are clearly interested in what Shaykh Hamza has to say regarding ISIS; the sermon has been viewed on YouTube more than 190,000 times, with more than 1,100 positive and negative comments, in the past month.

Shaykh Hamza made several interesting points in his sermon. (My follow-up questions appear in italics. Please forgive the tough questions. I don’t mean any disrespect to Shaykh Hamza. I realize that he didn’t have time to address all these issues in one sermon. But such questions have to be answered by our scholars so that laypeople like me can understand what is going on in the world around us.)

Ihsan is a special Islamic term, defined by the famous hadith known as the Hadith of Jibreel.

Once Angel Jibreel (peace be upon him) visited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the guise of a man and in the presence of the Companions. This happened toward the end of the Prophetic mission and its purpose was to summarize some fundamental teachings of Islam for the education of all of us.

Ten human rights organizations urgently contacted Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein today following the release of reports on the nature of attacks within the Gaza Strip and the high rate of civilian casualties. This information raises concerns about grave violations of international humanitarian law.

The organizations demanded that the Attorney General instruct the government to refrain from violating the laws of war and re-evaluate its aggressive policy and rules of engagement. The organizations seek to clarify whether the Attorney General critically evaluated the legal advice supplied to the Military Advocate General that underpins ‘Operation Protective Edge’, and calls on him to establish an external, independent and effective investigatory mechanism to examine the decision making of the political and operational establishment as required by international law and supported by the rulings of the High Court of Justice.

The joint letter notes that more than 400 people have been killed and thousands injured since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, the vast majority of which are Palestinians. More than 80 of the dead Palestinians are children. According to estimates provided by the United Nations, civilian casualties constitute 70% of the deaths.
