Everybody’s record is being maintained during his life period

It is a very accurate record. The day of judgement is the day of justice. No body will be wronged. His limbs will be his witness. He will see his record and his video film will be shown to him. Everyone will be rewarded or punished according to his deeds. The Quran in Surah Isra says: Everyman’s fate we have fastened on his own neck. On the Day of Judgment we shall bring out for him a scroll, which he will see spread open. Read your record sufficient is your soul this day to make out an account against you” (17:13-14)

An eternal bride

The pleasure Hadhrat Ādam must have felt when he saw a woman next to him as he awoke from a deep slumber, during which Allāh created a ‘mate’ for him from his body, is absolutely beyond our grasp. This mate called ‘Hawwā’ was a very special gift that Allāh presented to the first man of the human race.

However, men in all ages have continued to receive such a gift throughout the human history and will carry on getting the same till the Day of Qiyāmāh. Muslim men are bestowed this gift by virtue of a ceremony known as ‘Nikāh’. A Nikāh is sacred social contract between the bride and the groom. This contract is a strong covenant (Mithāqan Ghalizā) as expressed in Quran in Surāh An-Nisā  Āyat 21.

As a crossroads of trade between the Indian Ocean and East Asia, the Malay Archipelago has consistently been a wealthy, diverse, and politically important region. Islam began to spread in the region through trade not long after the life of Prophet Muhammad (S). For centuries, the people of Southeast Asia slowly began to accept Islam and create Muslim towns and kingdoms.

Perhaps the most important of these kingdoms was the Sultanate of Malacca (Melaka in Malay), which reached its peak in the mid-1400s. As a powerful and influential kingdom, the continued spread of Islam was intricately tied with the rise of the Malacca Sultanate. Unfortunately, however, the Malacca Sultanate would not last, as the newly powerful Portugal conquered the kingdom in 1511 and began a centuries-long period of European domination.

Glory to Allāh and Salutations on Rasulullāh Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam

This Dunyā, with all its glitter and glamour, is a very enticing place. At times we get so carried away by it that we become its slave and forget our Rabb. We start living a life that is totally against the commands of Allāh Ta’ala and the Sunnāh of Rasulullāh (Sall-Allāhu ‘alayhi wasallam).

Shaytaan Hinders the Slave from Acting by Means of Procrastination and Laziness

By: Umar Sulayman al-Ashqar

Concerning this point, Satan has many ways and means. It is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,

“During your sleep, Satan ties three knots at the back of your Necks. He breathes the following into them, ‘The night is long so keep on sleeping.’ If the person wakes and praises Allah, then one of the knots is unfastened. And if he performs ablution, the second knot is unfastened. When he prays, all of the knots are unfastened. After that he will be energetic and happy in the morning. Otherwise he would get up listless and grouchy.”

On a prison visit to see their husband and father the family were shocked to see that Farooqi’s face was all bruised. They say they believe he was attacked by fellow prisoners.

The 57 year old and two others were convicted of engaging in conduct designed to radicalise individuals to commit violent jihad in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

He was sentenced to 18 years in jail after an undercover police operation. The case was particularly controversial because it involved two undercover police officers who pretended to convert to Islam and who secretly recorded conversations with Farooqi and others over a period of about a year.
