When it comes to the history of the black peoples, the discussion often centres around slavery and then the subsequent artificial narrative of emancipation. However, what we fail to do is to ask the question: what was their history before slavery?

Gaza – What You’re Not Being Told (Video)

info-pictogram1 The corporate media isn’t just distorting the facts on the Gaza assault, they’re flat out covering them up. On July 7, 2014 Israel began a massive assault on the Gaza strip of Palestine. In the first week alone Israel dropped over 400 tons of bombs, killing over 130 Palestinians. Most were civilians, about half of them were women and children. By the time you are watching the the number will be higher.

Israel’s official justification for this wholesale slaughter: the murder of three Israeli teenagers which Israel blames on Hamas. That’s not the real reason. First of all Israel has not produced one single piece of evidence implicating Hamas or even a Palestinian in the murders, and in fact the the evidence we do have indicates that that murderers were Israeli. You see on Tuesday July 1st, The Jerusalem Post released the audio of the kidnapped teen’s distress call to police, and in that call the kidnappers can be heard telling the boys to put their heads down in HEBREW. According to the Jerusalem Post prior to being leaked to the public this audio was being held under a gag order by the Israeli government…

Indeed, think about where you came from and where you are now. Many of us would be ashamed of the sins we committed in the past, yet we look forward to the future of accumulating good deeds and working towards a joyous ending, in’sha’Allah!

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did not celebrate his birthday he only recognized it

Muhammad-arabic

By: Abiuel Hoque

Its very clear that our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did not celebrate his birthday he only recognized it. It is completely OK to be happy. Yes, you are one year older, but when that happiness goes a little over board, and people expect to be given presents, plus others wanna throw parties, its not right.

A true believer will always express his happiness and joy by thanking Allah. So there’s no harm in recognizing the day as your birthday, but don’t let others wish you or give you presents just because its your birthday. Birthdays are not special occasions, and doing anything to make them special is not part of our religion.

As reports grow about the wanton destruction of property and the loss of innocent life, the Houses of Allah and their inhabitants are witness. May Almighty Allah help us to rebuild the masjids in Palestine, Burma, Syria, Central Africa, etc with a spirit of strength and determination to resist evil and establish righteousness throughout the earth! Here is an example of that spirit that still lives among Muslims. (Where is it and what does it mean to you?)
