 Throughout the history of the world, the majority of people have believed in God. There seems to be something built in the human mind that makes us want to believe.

Over the last decade some really startling facts have been found that show that children have an innate belief in God. Dr Justin Barrett, a senior researcher at the University of Oxford Centre for Anthropology and Mind, states:

“The preponderance of scientific evidence for the past 10 years or so has shown that a lot more seems to be built into the natural development of children’s minds than we once thought, including a predisposition to see the natural world as designed and purposeful and that some kind of intelligent being is behind that purpose…’

He adds that “If we threw a handful [of children] on an island and they raised themselves…they would believe in God’.. To put it simply, his answer as to why anyone would believe in God is that, our minds are designed to do so . Disbelief in God is something which is unnatural to the human being. Oxford University development psychologist Dr Olivera Petrovich, who is an expert in the Psychology of Religion states that, belief in God develops naturally and that ‘atheism is definitely an acquired position’.

One of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h.) asked Prophet Muhammad for advice. He asked that the advice be short so that he would be able to remember it. “Don’t get angry,” said the Prophet. The same Companion repeated his request for some brief advice; each time he received the same answer from the Prophet each time, “Don’t get angry!”

Anger is a natural, universal and intuitive emotion that human beings have been given as a means of self-defense against threats. When expressed in a healthy fashion, anger can display productive and protective results, yet its uncontrolled use leads to destruction. Anger has the effect of making at least two people unhappy.

When we feel that we are not understood, that our desires cannot be attained, that our expectations have not been met, when we sense a threat or act of aggression against our values or our loved ones, we feel as though we are in an impasse; when we are obstructed from reaching an important goal, we become angry. This feeling, while alerting us to the presence of a problem, triggers feelings of concern, hatred, revenge and aggression, all in the name of protecting ourselves.

Rapper releases handcrafted beard creams

Philly rapper Freeway has invested in a product close to his roots, literally.

The 36-year-old rapper has debuted his contribution to manscaping with the release of his All Natural Best Beard cream.

Packaged in silver tins, the handcrafted creams come in an assortment of scents, from sweet blueberry to the limited-edition holiday spice that smells like nutmeg.

As of late, men have been saying so long to the chin strap, the goatee, and the soul patch as more have been growing full-on thick beards of glory.

Donning a “Beards R Us” T-shirt as he peruses the apparel in Status Shop on South Street, Freeway has been a source of beard-spiration since he exploded onto the hip-hop scene in the early 2000s.

“I’ve always been known throughout the music industry for my beard,” said Freeway, 36.

It’s almost 2015, and every single year more and more people are starting to question the information presented to them from mainstream western media outlets, and for good reason.
