Tetanus vaccines given to millions of young women in Kenya have been confirmed by laboratories to contain a sterilization chemical that causes miscarriages, reports the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, a pro-vaccine organization.

A whopping 2.3 million young girls and women are in the process of being given the vaccine, pushed by UNICEF and the World Health Organization.

“We sent six samples from around Kenya to laboratories in South Africa. They tested positive for the HCG antigen,” Dr. Muhame Ngare of the Mercy Medical Centre in Nairobi told LifeSiteNews. “They were all laced with HCG.”

Eric Garner Lived And Died Here (Video)

info-pictogram1 Video of Eric Garner being wrestled to the ground and ultimately dying at the hands of New York City police officers (note: a medical examiner ruled that it was a homicide resulting from the NYPD chokehold) put another spotlight on excessive force and how police treat African Americans. AJ+ revisits the Staten Island sidewalk scene with Garner’s friend Nasir Pough to hear firsthand about Garner’s kindness and Pough’s concerns about police.

HOMICIDE: Medical examiner says NYPD chokehold killed Staten Island dad Eric Garner

Eric Garner’s death by chokehold was a homicide.

The Staten Island man who collapsed after being placed in the banned restraint by a police officer died from compression of the neck and chest, the New York City Medical Examiner ruled Friday.

The 43-year-old victim’s asthma, obesity and high blood pressure were also contributing factors in his death, the autopsy determined.

It was the latest development in a case that sparked national outrage after The Daily News obtained video showing Officer Daniel Pantaleo putting Garner in the chokehold.

Garner’s widow said she was relieved that the ME confirmed what had been suspected for weeks.

“Thank God the truth is finally out,” Esaw Garner told The Daily News. “Thank God for that.”

Ebola virus: Top Sierra Leone doctor, Sheik Umar Khan, dies of disease

info-pictogram1 The top doctor treating patients infected with the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone has died from the disease, officials have confirmed. Dr Sheik Umar Khan had been hospitalised in quarantine since he contracted the virus last week. The virologist was credited with treating more than 100 patients at the hospital in Kenema – one of the world’s leading Ebola diagnosis facilities.

“It is a big and irreparable loss to Sierra Leone as he was the only specialist the country had in viral haemorrhagic fevers,” Kargbo said on Tuesday.

The current outbreak is the largest in history, so far killing more than 672 people across West Africa since the outbreak began in February, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO). Nations affected include Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria.

Dr Khan’s death on Tuesday afternoon was confirmed by chief medical officer Dr Brima Kargbo, who had previously hailed him as a “national hero” when she announced he had contracted the the disease.
