When you enter into a marriage, you never think about the fact that a large percentage of marriages actually fail. Marriages fail for many reasons and if you’ve had a failed marriage your main reason for failure might be different than most others. However, there are some reasons that are consistent across most failed marriages.

Hamas says Israel stalling on agreement as Gaza death toll hits 2,016

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — A Hamas spokesman on Sunday accused Israel of “stalling” in ongoing negotiations in Cairo to achieve a long-term truce in Gaza, stressing that “the ball is in the Israeli occupation’s court.”

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said during a march in solidarity with Palestinian resistance in Rafah that the group’s “priority is to reach an agreement, but the occupiers must stop stalling.”

“We are discussing an agreement from a position of strength, not weakness,” he said, adding: “Either we have an agreement that meets our demands, or no agreement.”

As Israel’s assault on Gaza enters its third week, the latest round of diplomatic efforts has yielded a 12-hour truce which both Israel and Palestinian resistance factions agreed to commit to. US Secretary of State John Kerry has said that he hopes the break in fighting will be extended to a seven-day ceasefire.

More than 980 Palestinians have been killed since the war in Gaza began, while protests and more clashes have now spread to the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
