On November 24, two weeks before the Senate Intelligence Committee released its “torture report,” Reprieve, a UK-based human rights NGO, published the results of its latest investigation into President Obama’s drone strike program. While Obama was preparing for the inevitable release of the Senate’s report which provided the most extensive insight yet into the CIA’s use of torture during the Bush administration, Reprieve provided insights of its own into the Obama administration’s equally disturbing targeted drone assassination program.

The drones came for Ayman Zawahiri on 13 January 2006, hovering over a village in Pakistan called Damadola. Ten months later, they came again for the man who would become al-Qaida’s leader, this time in Bajaur.
Eight years later, Zawahiri is still alive. Seventy-six children and 29 adults, according to reports after the two strikes, are not.
However many Americans know who Zawahiri is, far fewer are familiar with Qari Hussain. Hussain was a deputy commander of the Pakistani Taliban, a militant group aligned with al-Qaida that trained the would-be Times Square bomber, Faisal Shahzad, before his unsuccessful 2010 attack. The drones first came for Hussain years before, on 29 January 2008. Then they came on 23 June 2009, 15 January 2010, 2 October 2010 and 7 October 2010.
Once upon a time, in 1964, the FBI hated Martin Luther King so much they tried to get him to kill himself. They threatened him with information found through their spying programs. The danger of unchecked surveillance is more relevant than ever today.

The real meaning of Khalifah is the Vicegerent or representaive of Allah on earth not a political leader. Adam (pbuh), the first human was given this responsibility by Almighty Allah and we, as a human race, are now failing miserably. Before we bombed, kill, behead, occupy, exploit and starve other people in the name of democracy, peace or law and order, we need to straighten up and deal with the earth. We can find a cure for Ebola, bring back sanity and peace if we would just stop being so bigoted and narrow minded. look at this tragedy we are facing in the north, just like our fellow human beings around the world, animals are being made refugees!!!
Look at 35, 000 walruses coming ashore and trapped at Point Lay, Alaska, right now! There is not enough sea ice to sustain them so they’re stuck on the shore.” SubhaanAllah, do we think that we are not next?

More than 120 Islamic scholars from around the world wrote an open letter to the leader of ISIS Al-Baghdadi, denouncing ISIS and its fundamentals. Everyone should at least go through these points to understand how ISIS’s ideology is far away from the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Quick summary of the 17 page letter:
Mark Dice is a media analyst, author, and political activist who, in an entertaining and educational way, gets people to question our celebrity obsessed culture and the role the mainstream media and elite secret societies play in shaping our lives.
Rescuers try to reach thousands trapped by floods as water levels rise to 20-year highs in some areas. Kamal Hyder reports.
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — At least 38 Palestinians died on Thursday as Israeli planes bombarded Gaza for the second day in a row after a temporary ceasefire fell apart after weeks of fighting, as the Palestinian negotiations delegation accused Israel of failing to respond to an offer for peace.
Hundreds of attacks send toll soaring, while Gaza’s only power station shuts down after being hit.
A thick column of black smoke was seen rising from the power station on Tuesday, mingling with other plumes sent into the air by Israeli shelling.
Gaza officials said the death toll from the invasion had now reached 1,178, with at least 100 killed since midnight on Tuesday. More than 6,800 Gazans had been injured. The AFP news agency reported that one air raid alone in northern Gaza had killed 10 people on Tuesday.
