There is no place on Earth as venerated, as central or as holy to as many people as Mecca. By any objective standard, this valley in the Hijaz region of Arabia is the most celebrated place on Earth.
Thousands circle the sacred Kaaba at the centre of the Haram sanctuary 24 hours a day. Millions of homes are adorned with pictures of it and over a billion face it five times a day.
The Kaaba is the epicenter of Mecca.
The cube shaped building is at the heart of the most well-known real estate in the history of mankind; it is shrouded in black and its fair share of mystery.
Here are just a few things that most people may not know about the Kaaba:
Prophetic Traditions on Hatin’ and Trollin’
By: Suhaib Webb
“A true Muslim is a person who others are safe from his speech and hands.”
“A Muslim does not hate another Muslim.”
“Avoid hatin’ because it devours good deeds like fire devours wood.”
“It is enough of an evil to hate another Muslim in your heart.”
I heard one of my teachers say,
“When someone reads the last verse of the 113th chapter of the Qur’an, he is not only seeking refuge in Allah from haters, but asking to protect others from his hating as well; and to protect him from his own hatin’ because it will inflict considerable damage on his Hereafter. “
This Sea Lion Jumped Inside A Boat (Video)
The circus seal we often see balancing a ball on its nose and jumping through hoops is typically a California sea lion. But in the wild, the California sea lion is a sleek animal that is faster than any other sea lion or seal. They have been known to reach speeds up to 25 miles (40 kilometers) an hour! Unlike other sea lions, California sea lions do not have lion-like manes and live along the rocky Pacific Ocean coastlines of western North America and also near Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands. These people were about two miles off the coast of Newport Beach, California when this baby sea lion spotted this passenger boat. The sea lion was probably tired from swimming and ended up boarding the boat. What he did for the next hour will amaze you!
Documentary: Inside the Garbage of the World (Video)
We’re living on a beautiful planet and as a human race we’ve been here for thousands of years. Our planet didn’t need to be protected; life was flourishing on its own, with its own agenda. However for the past 100 years we’ve made a tremendous impact with our footprint due to the growth of world population and the industrialization of our everyday life. Economy, profit and capitalization became more important than respecting our planet and an ancient knowledge to advance a new way of life.

YOU CAN’T LIBERATE THE FREE
In Islam, a woman is free to be who she is inside, and immuned from being portrayed as sex symbol and lusted after. The covering of the Muslim woman is not oppression but a liberation from the shackles of male scrutiny and the standards of attractiveness.
Piece of advice: A heart can not be broken
Source: Road Side 2 Islam
Asalamu Alaykum,
Remember if he/she ‘broke’ your ‘heart’ and promises were made but broken. A heart can not be broken because after being hurt your still breathing. So if you gave your heart to this person but never got theirs in exchange know that they was not worth it and know this was what the outcome would be. So this hurt your feeling inside yourself is something which was always going to happen. Because when we commit an act of haram there is always consequences (i.e being lied to). However Allah being the Most Merciful this can be a blessing in disguise.
Humans are like strawberries
By: roadside2islam
We all come from the same seed. We all encounter different things in life, but what sets us apart is our ability to choose how sweet or bitter we become. Strawberries are at the mercy of the person who grows them but people are at the mercy of themselves. We can choose how beautiful or bitter we want to be. Do we want to look big and beautiful on the outside, or do we want to be beautiful on the inside. If we focus on the inside, the eyes of the beholder will eventually find us not for how we look, but our reputation will be enough for them to give us a chance, because we are beautiful inside.
