is a much-needed characteristic for all Muslims. Being modest is one of the most crucial traits of a person. We need to acknowledge our own defects and willingly submit to the commandments of Allah swt . The messenger of Allah, Mohammed SAW , was known for his incredible humility and grace. He used to be humble with his companions, at home and with everyone he met.

BEWARE OF Shaytan’s work (Beautifying Falsehood-Satan’s mission)

And whosoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (i.e. this Qur’aan and worship of Allah), We appoint for him Shaytan to be a Qareen (an intimate companion) to him. And verily, they (Shayateen) hinder them from the Path (of Allah), but they think that they are guided aright!’
[Qur’an (43): 36-37]

This verse determines the task of Qareen;

a) Hindering from the path of Allah,
b) and confusing the person into believing that he is upon the truth.

The dawn of evil started with the arrogance and rebellious nature of Iblees

Shaitan’s (also referred to as Satan) enmity with man started when Allah (SWT) created the first man, Adam (alaihis salaam). Satan was from amongst the “jinn” who have been created with the ability to obscure themselves from human sight, and who constitute a world of their own. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

“And (remember) when We said to the angels: ‘Prostrate yourselves unto Adam.’ So they prostrated themselves except ‘Iblis’ (Satan). He was one of the jinn; he disobeyed the command of his Lord” (Quran, Al-Kahf: 50).

Ibn Hazm said:

“The jinn are real, and they are creatures created by Allaah. Among them are kaafirs and believers. They can see us but we cannot see them. They eat, have children and die. Allaah says (interpretation of the meanings):

“O you assembly of jinn and Mankind!” [al-An’aam 6:130]

“And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire” [al-Hijr 15:27]
