Would you like a million pounds?

If a random guy came up to you right now and gave you 1 million pounds and walked away, what would you do?
Realistically you would probably go after the guy and try to thank him, or maybe even ask him, “why are you giving me this money?” Because you feel grateful for what he’s done or you feel that you’ve gotten something so amazing so surely he must want something in return?

Do not adjust your screen or your glasses – you read it right. This article is by a Muslim praising the West. Much like the title image of a smiling Shakeel Ahmed Butt (referred to online as “Muslim Rage Boy”), I’m trying to show that we can break the stereotype.
One of the more pernicious symptoms of depression is losing the ability to recognise good in others. The gloom that is cast over the Muslim world at the present time demonstrates this perfectly. We are sore at “the West” and blame them (with some justification) for many of the ills that plague us.

This kid received a chopping board on his birthday as a joke, but his reaction teaches us a lesson that reminds us to be always grateful. Imagine he ignored his mother after receiving these gifts? This is what people do when they ignore Allah for the gift of everything from oxygen to breath, food to eat, and eyes to see. May Allah allow us to be grateful Ameen.

May God grant the baby full recovery and great heath and may he grow up to be grateful and thankful working his whole life for the Deen for this amazing blessing from Allah.

A 15-month-old US boy has survived an 11-story fall from a balcony at his parents’ apartment in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Musa Dayib has been nicknamed “the miracle baby” after escaping death despite slipping through the railing and making a perilous fall.
In addition to fractures to both his arms, his backbone and his ribs, Dayib also suffered a concussion and is breathing through a ventilator. In critical but stable condition, he is expected to survive.
The boy was apparently saved by his soft landing spot, on a mulched area.
“It’s definitely a miracle. It’s God’s gift to his family. Kids don’t fall this far and make it often. Especially without a serious brain injury. You or I would’ve been dead,” ,” Tina Slusher said from the paediatric intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center.
