Foods of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S.)

“And the earth hath He appointed for His creatures Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm trees, Husked grain and scented herb. Which is it of these favors of your Lord that ye deny?” (Surat Ar-rahman 55:10-13).
The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) was once reported to have said, “There are two kinds of knowledge: knowledge of religion and knowledge of the body.” The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) frequently commented upon the nature and value of various foods and spices. These comments were noted by his wives and companions (r.a.) and remain available to us today.
Before presenting a selection of the Hadith specifically relating to health, it is necessary to reflect for a moment on the nature of some of these recommendations. To some people, the advice which follows may seem quaint, old-fashioned, or simply bizarre.
The Cure – Blood: a primer (Video)
In this animation, we delve into the different functions and components of blood. Blood is a mixture of various cells suspended in a fluid called plasma. Although fundamentally different in both appearance and function, all blood cells originate from a single type of stem cell in the bone marrow. Red blood cells, or erythrocytes, are made up of little sacs of haemoglobin which are designed to carry oxygen. White blood cells, or leukocytes, are part of our immune system and move in and out of blood vessels searching for any signs of infection or cellular abnormalities. Platelets, or thrombocytes, help repair the blood vessel in the event of an injury by helping the blood to clot.
Islam is the Cure to Racism

Racism is evil. It divides us. Through it, hatred, conflict and tyranny ensue and from that emerges untold suffering. Yet the racist cannot see it. This is because for them others are not truly human in the same way that they are. This is because racism is the belief that one is superior and better purely by virtue of their race or the colour of one’s skin, or ethnic origin. It is the idea that only my race and only my group of people are truly human. Everyone else is inferior. Everyone else is other. Furthermore, it is the idea that the qualities of goodness and being right reside with one’s people and no one else is truly capable of it!
The blessed time of Fajr
By: Mohammed Zeyara
It the sounds of the birds singing their prayers. The view of the clouds floating in the pink clear skies. It is the soft air that cleanses the lungs. It is the silence of gold where solutions are constructed. It is the blessed time of Fajr.
Fajr, how much we’ve missed you. We’ve been chasing the beauty of this world, forgetting that you are its beauty. The thought that you’re nothing but a command from God made us underestimate you. When you are a favour, a secret, a worldly hack, a blessing, a medicine, and a cure from God. To assist us, to solve our problems, soften our hearts, discipline our bodies, fix our schedules, and revive our souls. It is Fajr time that we have ignored for far too long. The true intimacy the broken hearts are desperate for.
We are not doing God a favour by waking up for Fajr, He is doing us a favour.
Islam is the nature way and it fits perfectly with the heart, mind, body and soul
The last and final messenger sent to mankind has sad that “Verily spells, talismans and charms are shrik” [Abu Dawood and Musnad Ahmad]
It’s sad to see many people have fallen into this out of ignorance and a lack of knowledge but there is always hope in ISLAM, so if you have gotten caught up into this please turn to Allah (God) and seek forgiveness and only his protection, and here is a wonderful DUA that you can start reading inshaAllah.
“Remove the suffering O’ Lord of mankind, and heal it perfectly, as you are the True healer. There is no cure Except Your cure, a cure which is not followed by sickness! ” Prophet Muhammad (Abu Dawud)
