The arabic word for sadness or grief is “Gham” – derived from the word “Ghaamama (the cloud) “. Although there’s no apparent relationship between sadness and cloud, there is a hidden one.  Just like how a cloud blocks away sunshine from lighting up the earth,sadness/grief also acts as a stumbling block, hindering man’s positive energy and performance.

Just like a cloud blocks all the sun-shine coming down to the earth, sadness or grief, one way or another, also acts as a stumbling block for a man’s positive energy and performance. 2

It is very natural that when a person is happy and everything is going according to his whims and desires and his own wishful thinking, his performance is at it’s peak, but when he is tested or acalamity strikes him, he becomes pessimistic and isn’t able to give a good performance.

Subhana’llah: Iridescent clouds (IMAGES)

 Cloud iridescence is the occurrence of colors in a cloud similar to those seen in oil films on puddles, and is similar to irisation. It is a fairly uncommon phenomenon, most often observed in altocumulus, cirrocumulus, lenticular clouds and cirrus clouds. The colors are usually pastel, but can be very vivid. Iridescence is generally produced near the sun, with the sun’s glare masking it, so it is more easily seen by hiding the sun behind a tree or building. Other aids are dark glasses, or observing the sky reflected in a convex mirror or in a pool of water.

 Martil (Arabic: مرتيل‎) is a sea resort north east of Tetouan,Morocco in the Mediterranean Sea. The resort constitutes the end of the Martil Valley. In region Tangier-Tétouan. The name Martil comes from the Spanish name of Río Martín at the time of the Spanish protectorate of Northern Morocco. To the north is the golfing resort of Cabo Negro.

TUBULAR CLOUDS

There is a vast array of many different types of clouds, each of which have a specific shape and special cause of formation. Tubular clouds look particularly unusual. They can appear in sections of tubes or as a lot of hanging balls, and their shade can be white to blue-gray. The color depends on the thickness of the cloud.

ECLIPSE ABOVE THE CLOUDS (IMAGE)

As seen from the Earth, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks (“occults”) the Sun. This can happen only at new moon, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth in an alignment referred to as syzygy. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. Inpartial and annular eclipses only part of the Sun is obscured.

There are four types of solar eclipses:

• A total eclipse: Occurs when the dark silhouette of the Moon completely obscures the intensely bright light of the Sun, allowing the much fainter solar corona to be visible. During any one eclipse, totality occurs at best only in a narrow track on the surface of Earth.
  
• An annular eclipse: Occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. Hence the Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the dark disk of the Moon.
  
• A hybrid eclipse (also called annular/total eclipse): Shifts between a total and annular eclipse. At certain points on the surface of Earth it appears as a total eclipse, whereas at other points it appears as annular. Hybrid eclipses are comparatively rare.
  
• A partial eclipse: Occurs when the Sun and Moon are not exactly in line and the Moon only partially obscures the Sun. This phenomenon can usually be seen from a large part of Earth outside of the track of an annular or total eclipse. However, some eclipses can only be seen as a partial eclipse, because the umbra passes above the Earth’s polar regions and never intersects Earth’s surface.
  

ROLL CLOUDS

These clouds are often born out of a storm’s downdraft. Sinking cold air causes warm, moist air near the ocean’s surface to rise. When the air reaches higher altitudes, the moisture in it condenses to form such an unusual cloud. The cloud is rolled into a tube by the winds from the storm.

HOLE PUNCH CLOUDS

Meteorologists identify the ring of light as an optical effect caused by sunlight hitting what is known as a hole punch cloud. It appears as a circular or oval hole in a thin layer of air containing supercooled water droplets. UFO believers took a strong interest in this strange cloud formation after it appeared over Moscow in 2009.
