The French Muslim ignored by Israel
The African man who saved the lives of at least six Jews in Paris has gone largely unacknowledged by the Jewish state, which judges people not by their acts but by their color and religion.

Lassana Bathily’s name probably does not mean very much to many people. He is a black Muslim immigrant, a 24-year-old Malian citizen who….
You might have thought that the above sentence was going to continue with a verb, such as “murdered,” “raped” or, at the very least, “stole” — but no. Bathily, the 24-year-old black Muslim immigrant, is the man whosaved at least six Jews from being murdered during the terror attack at the Hyper Cacher supermarket in Paris, where he worked, by hiding them in the walk-in freezer and turning off its power switch.
Within a week, the French interior minister granted him the citizenship he had applied for six months earlier. This was after about 300,000 French citizens who regarded Bathily as a national hero signed a petition asking that the government do so.
Free Speech Hypocrisy In France (Video)
Since the Charlie Hebdo attack, France has been all about freedom of speech – but actions speak louder than words. Recently the French arrested a comedian for a Facebook post and a 16-year-old boy for allegedly posting a spoof Charlie Hebdo cover. While you may not agree with what those people did, shouldn’t the freedom of speech be absolute?

CAIRO – One of the early founders of satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo has accused its slain chief editor of dragging the team to their deaths after turning the weekly into a Zionist, Islamophobic mouthpiece.
“I really hold it against you,” Henri Roussel, 80, who contributed to the first issue of the satirical weekly in 1970, wrote to the slain editor in the Left-leaning magazine Nouvel Obs, Daily Telegraph reported.
“I know it’s not done,” Roussel, who publishes under the pen name Delfeil de Ton, added.
He went further to blame Stéphane Charbonnier, or Charb, of “dragging the team” to their deaths by releasing increasingly provocative cartoons.

A Muslim in Canada decided to put ‘free speech’ to the test in the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo shootings by joking about 9/11 and the Holocaust on Twitter. He is now the subject of a police investigation.
Hot dog seller Jerry Reddick took to the social media network yesterday to experiment with how far he could take freedom of expression, writing, “Let’s test just how free freedom of speech is when it’s not Muslims being disrespected.”
What followed was a series of tweets which were undoubtedly offensive but for many wouldn’t be construed as any more odious than material published by Charlie Hebdo.

Hitler asked his people, “How do you like your Jews”? Well done with a bagel and a kosher pickle. Freedom of speech goes both ways #Muhammad

If I made a cartoon about Hitler and some Jews going into a oven; would it be accepted like the cartoon of Muhammad as free speech?

Within hours of sending out the tweets, Reddick was reported to Halifax police and is now under investigation by authorities.
