In Today’s Society there is seems to be this assumption that just becasue your “religious” you don’t believe in or scientific fact, Pangea or dinosaurs. Personally i think its quite ridiculous. I mean…there is “some” Truth in All things and all knowledge comes from Allah. I personally dont subscribe to that assumption that religion is “backwards” and does not comply with Science. I feel ISLAM and Science go hand in hand. so here’s what i learned and think. Secular Science believes that millions of years ago there was PANGEA. Earth with all the plates and lands connected. Over time, it in fact separated until earth is as it is today.
Allah explains in the Quran about the Moving of the Earth.
[I swear] by Heaven which returns and the earth which splits. (Qur’an, 86:11-12)

You see the mountains you reckoned to be solid going past like clouds. (Qur’an, 27:88)
