Parenting Cannot Be Delegated

I was a guest at one of my friend’s place. This was a very rich man and he had a young son. While we were sitting, his son offered me a glass of water. The father retaliated: “Can’t you even greet with Salams!” I could clearly see the man’s eyebrows frowning and the little kid shivering. The child mumbled ‘Assalamualaikum’ in a shivering voice . Later, I corrected my friend that he was wrong in insulting his son and he should read the biography of the Prophet 
on how he taught children, tolerated their mistakes and corrected them without getting angry.
Don’t be disheartened and think that you can never be a good Muslim
You never know what deed of yours may see you enter Jannah. Don’t be disheartened and think that you can never be a good Muslim. Ask yourself what small deed you can do today that will make you better than yesterday? It maybe something as small as saying the words “I seek Allah’s forgiveness” in the morning and evening. It maybe something as small as making a small change like listening to Quran on your drive to work rather than listening to Music or Radio. Just make the small change and keep making the small changes each day, each week, and then watch Allah turn your life around for you for the better.

Fast food giants McDonald’s and KFC have apologized to Chinese customers for using expired meat from a local supplier in China. Now Starbucks and Burger King have also been engulfed in the mess. The revelation was made in a local Chinese TV investigation. Food safety is a big concern in China after a 2008 milk scandal which led to the death of six kids and made thousands sick.

A mother cannot be replaced by anyone!

We MUST value our mothers before they are taken away. It is an obligation to be respectful towards them, say kind words to them & appreciate everything they have done & continue doing for us! A meal prepared at home by “mum” is far more valuable & blessed than tens of other meals even if it is plain & simple! Once we marry, although life changes drastically, the status of a mum should never be forgotten. Success lies in appreciating those closest to us!
