WHAT IS NAJD ? AND WHERE LIES THE NAJD ?

 Najd, also spelled Nejd,  region, central Saudi Arabia, comprising a mainly rocky plateau sloping eastward from the mountains of the Hejaz. On the northern, eastern, and southern sides, it is bounded by the sand deserts of Al-Nafūd, Al-Dahnāʾ, and the Rubʿ al-Khali. It is sparsely settled, except for the fertile oases strung along the escarpment of Jabal (mountains) Ṭuwayq and the Al-ʿAramah plateau. The arid region remained politically divided among rival peoples until the mid-18th century, when it became the centre of the Wahhābī, a fundamentalist Islamic movement. Led by the Muslim scholarMuḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb and the Āl Saʿūd family, the movement consolidated Najd and expanded into Mecca in 1803. This expansionist policy antagonized the Ottomans, who seized the provincial capital of Al-Dirʿiyyah. The Āl Saʿūd, however, quickly regained control, and, with Riyadh as the new capital from 1824, the dynasty has ruled Najd continuously, save for a brief period around the turn of the century when the Rashīd dynasty extended its power over the province. Ibn Saʿūd proclaimed the unified Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932, and his provincial capital of Riyadh became the national capital, although Jiddah continued as the diplomatic capital. Oases groups within Najd region include Al-Kharj, Al-Maḥmal, Al-Sudayr, Al-Washm, Al-ʿĀriḍ, Al-Qaṣīm, and Jabal Shammar.

Geography : The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is about 1,969,000 km2 occupying four-fifths of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the tenth largest country covering 1.64% of the land area of the world, and 8% of the land area of Asia.

The Kingdom extends from 32º 12′ N latitude on the Jordanian border in the north to 16º 00′ N at the Yemeni border in the south. It is bounded by the Red Sea in the west and the Arabian Gulf in the east.

Western Saudi Arabia is dominated by a mountain chain running the entire length of the country, known as the Hijjaz and Asir mountains. It runs parallel to the Red sea and rises to between 1300 – 3000 m. above the Tihamah coastal plain to its west. The flat coastal plain along the edge of the Red sea is hot and humid with temperature reaching 45º C in the shade during the summer months, with 90% relative humidity. The winter is considerably cooler but due to the relative warmth of the sea, it is never cold. From this fertile crest it falls towards the east as a desert plateau to the dry interior or the Najd containing the Dahna and Nafud which extends to the great sand desert of the Rub Al Khali (The Empty Quarter). From the Dahna dunes to the east coast the terrain alternate between rocky outcrops and gravel plains. The eastern region lies on the Arabian Gulf coast and contains salt flats (sabkhahs). There are many artesian wells along the coast which are used to irrigate large areas under cultivation around Hofuf and Qatif.

Saudi Arabia was established in 1932 by King Abd-al-Aziz – known as the Lion of Najd – who took over Hijaz from the Hashemite family and united the country under his family’s rule. (known internationally as Ibn Saud)

Except for a few major cities and oases, the harsh climate historically prevented much settlement of the Arabian Peninsula. People of various cultures have lived in the peninsula over a span of more than 5,000 years. The Dilmun culture, along the Gulf coast, was contemporaneous with the Sumerians and ancient Egyptians, and most of the empires of the ancient world traded with the states of the peninsula.

The Saudi state began in central Arabia*** in about 1750. A local ruler, Muhammad bin Saud, joined forces with an Islamic reformer, Muhammad Abd Al-Wahhab, to create a new political entity. Over the next 150 years, the fortunes of the Saud family rose and fell several times as Saudi rulers contended with Egypt, the Ottoman Empire, and other Arabian families for control on the peninsula. The modern Saudi state was founded by the late King Abdul Aziz Al-Saud (known internationally as Ibn Saud). In 1902, Abdul Aziz recaptured Riyadh, the Al-Saud dynasty’s ancestral capital, from the rival Al-Rashid family. Continuing his conquests, Abdul Aziz subdued Al-Hasa, the rest of Nejd, and the Hijaz between 1913 and 1926. In 1932, these regions were unified as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. WHAT IS THE FITNAH /KUFUR/HELPERS OF DAJJAL/DEVILS HORNS WHICH WILL COME FROM NAJD REGION ? AS FORE-WARNED BY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM)

Hazrat Abu Huzaifa (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates a Hadith concerning the leaders of the mischief makers: “I swear by Allah that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) has not left out a single leader of Fitna from this day to the day of Qiyamah. Their followers would number 300 or more and further gave their names and that of their tribes.” (Abu Dawood)

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet (s)said, “O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen.” The People said, “And also on our NAJD.” He said, “O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen.” The people said, “O Allah’s Apostle! And also on our NAJD.” I think the third time the Prophet (s) said, “There (in NAJD) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan.” Sahi Bukhari (Book #88, Hadith#214)

It can be deduced from the above Hadith that Najd is neither blessed nor a good place but one of Fitna and Evil. Najd has been deprived of the prayers of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and therefore Najd has the seal of misery and misfortune and hoping for any good from there is going against the Will of Allah.

NOTE: NAJD IS THE CENTRAL EASTERN PART OF ARABIA  LYING EXACTLY TO THE EAST OF HEJAZ OR MEDINA, PRESENTLY CALLED AS RIYADH HAIL , BURRAYDAH THE CAPITAL OF HYPOCRITES WAHHABIS AND SALAFIS ,THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE GREAT DEVILS AND FITNAH IBN ABDUL WAHHAB AND THE PRESENT WAHHABI SALAFI SAUD DYNASTY

 

Abdullah bin Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates in Muslim Shareef: “The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once emerged from the room of his wife, Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) and pointing towards Najd exclaimed:
‘This is the center of Kufr from where the horn of Shaitaan will rise’.” (Muslim Shareef Vol. ii, PP. 1394)

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar Radi Allahu anhuthat Abdullah ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhu said, “ I saw the Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam pointing at the EAST ( Najd) and saying, ‘The cause of dissension is here. The cause of dissension is here, from where the helpers of shaytan arise.” IMAM MALIK’S Radi Allahu anhu MUWATTA (Book #54, Hadith #54.11.29)

Sahl b. Hunaif reported Allah’s Apostle Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam as saying: There would arise from the east( Najd) a people with shaven heads. Sahi Muslim (Book #005, Hadith #2338)

Prophet(Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said “Nearing Qiyamah there will be a Group of people who will recite the Holy Quran but it will not go below their throats. They will leave the true Religion of Islam as fast as an arrow leaves the bow. They will be recognized by the shavings of their entire head and they will move in Groups and their last Group will emerge with Dajjal, when you meet them you will discover their nature and character, the worst of its kind.”(Mishkat Shareef pp/309 – Prints may vary and pages may be different in other publications)

Sayed Allama Dahlan (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) quotes in his book ‘Addarus Sunnia’ an authentic Hadith of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) which states: “There will be a Group of people emerging from the East ( Najd) who will recite the Holy Quran but it will not go down their throats. They will leave the folds of Islam like an arrow leaves the bow never to return. A feature to recognize this Group is that their heads would be shaven clean.” Hadith from (Addarus Sunnia, PP. 49)

IMPORTANT NOTE :

Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab Najdi The Chief Innovator of Wahhabi/Salafi Ideology had demanded NOT ONLY MEN BUT ALSO ALL WOMEN WHO ENTERED HIS WAHHABI AQEEDA THAT THEY SHOULD ALL SHAVE THEIR HEADS.

This was done because he said: “This is the hair of the period of Kufr therefore it must be shaven off”. This shaving off of the female hair carried on for some time until an indignant woman stood up and challenged: “Why don’t you shave off the beards of your recruits when they enter you Deen. That is also the hair of the period of Kufr?”

“Hair is the precious ornament of a female as is the beard for a male. Is it apt to leave human beings deprived of their ornaments bestowed upon them by Allahu ta’ala?”

It was from then that he stopped this shameful and disgusting practice.

Ibn ‘Umar reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying (in a state) that he had turned his face towards the EAST( Najd): Behold, turmoil would appear from this side, from where the horns of Satan would appear. Sahi Muslim (Book #041, Hadith #6938)

Ibn ‘Umar reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood by the door (of the apartment of) gafsa and, pointing towards the EAST( Najd), he said: The turmoil would appear from this side, viz. where the horns of Satan would appear, and he uttered these words twice or thrice and Ubaidullah b. Sa’ld in his narration said. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had been standing by the door of ‘A’isha. Sahi Muslim (Book #041, Hadith #6939)

Ibn Umar reported: I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying while pointing his hands towards the EAST (Najd): The turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side (he repeated it thrice) where appear the horns of Satan.Sahi Muslim (Book #041, Hadith #6942)

Ibn Fudail reported on the authority of his father that he heard Salim b. ‘Abdullah b. ‘Umar as saying: O people of Iraq, how strange it is that you ask about the minor sins but commit major sins? I heard from my father ‘Abdullah b. ‘Umar, narrating that he heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying while pointing his hand towards the EAST( Najd): Verily. the turmoil would come from this side, from where appear the horns of Satan and you would strike the necks of one another; and Moses killed a person from among the people of Pharaoh unintentionally and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said:” You killed a person but We relieved you from the grief and tried you with (many a) trial” (xx. 40). Ahmad b. Umar reported this hadith from Salim, but he did not make a mention of the words:” I heard”. Sahi Muslim (Book #041, Hadith #6943)

Fitnah will come from this side [Iraq] the horn of shaytan will rise from it and you will kill of one another it in. [Muslim no.6943]
