Stand in solidarity with Australian Muslim women by posting your photo donning a hijab with the hashtag #WISH Women in Solidarity with Hijabis.

Australian Muslim women in hijab often bear the brunt of Islamophobia and have recently been the subject of physical and verbal abuse. They have been physically attacked, had their scarves ripped of their heads, had coffee hurled at them and have had their cars vandalised and spray painted with profanities.

Mothers have been verbally abused, spat on and had their prams kicked.

To counter these anti-Muslim sentiments, Aussie women all around the country as a gesture of goodwill have posted photos of themselves on social media, donning the hijab.

Stand in solidarity with Australian Muslims by doing the same!

Post your photo donning a hijab on this page with the hashtag #WISH Women in Solidarity with Hijabis

About Akhi Soufyan

If you see goodness from me, then that goodness is from The Creator. You should be thankful to The Creator for all of that. Cause I'm not the architect of that. I'm only the...the recipient. If you see weakness or shortcoming in me it's from my own weakness or shortcoming. And I ask The Creator and the people to forgive me for that.
