You don’t need make up to make you look beautiful

In recent years the rise of the so called ‘make up artist’ also known as ‘mua’ in short has increased many Muslim sisters are caught up into this craze. They are deluded into thinking that make up actually helps ‘beautify’ there face, however its just a mask that they put on top of their real face. They become so deluded they feel as though they can not go out without the make up, its like a drug which they are addicted to.

It’s a shame that many sisters do not realize that they have fallen into the trap of following the ways of those who disbelieve. They don’t realise that there heads have been turn’t by media propaganda that prompt these looks, which is something that does’nt surprise me as society is against Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah as long as you obey the constraints they force upon you to conform to there liking. I don’t understand the whole make up bearing, hijaab wearing sister concept because in essence the make up you apply on your face is like a magnet to the eyes. It causes attention to come your way because you suppress your face with foundation, lipstick, eye shadow and so on this also makes the hijaab useless because you ain’t just wearing the hijaab for your hair. Its your identity that your striving instill. Modesty and piety is your goal which isn’t reached this way. You can say ‘Only Allah can judge me’ and its ‘none of your business’ however we get judged upon our action.

Many people may read this status a say but ‘why do you look’, ‘lower your gaze’ or ‘your just another pervert guy who likes to oppress women’! But I say NO Allah has put an emaana upon our shoulders that we try to do good for ourselves and others also. So if we are able to give naseeha to help bring about change then we should try our best to do so. AfterAll this ummah is one body.
