Take 7 Steps for Gaza

Source: http://www.foa.org.uk

Israel’s latest atrocity in Gaza has led to thousands of you asking what you can do to help. FOA has put together a guide on a number of different campaigns which we hope you will each sign up to, so that collectively, we can help end the suffering of the Palestinian people.

If you cannot take all the recommended actions, commit yourself to at least one and be consistent with it. Palestinians need us in times of crisis, and these times of crisis are not just when Israel unleashes its mass death and destruction.

Remember – Palestinians face a crisis every day.

The people of Gaza live under occupation and an inhumane blockade which means they are slowly being starved of all of life’s essentials. Israel has bombed Gaza’s only power station – the consequence of this is no electrical power for 90% of the people and an inconceivable level of misery.

In the West Bank including Jerusalem, Palestinians continue to be attacked, treated like cattle at check points, while being denied basic rights such as free access to places of worship. Palestinian prisoners have been on month’s long hunger strike against Israel’s Administrative Detention policies where people are imprisoned for 6 months without charge or trial.

What will you do about it?

FOA has been running a number of campaigns to pressure Israel and its supporters to end its oppression of Palestinians. Details of these campaigns can be found by clicking on the relevant link below:

About Akhi Soufyan

If you see goodness from me, then that goodness is from The Creator. You should be thankful to The Creator for all of that. Cause I'm not the architect of that. I'm only the...the recipient. If you see weakness or shortcoming in me it's from my own weakness or shortcoming. And I ask The Creator and the people to forgive me for that. _______________________________ Website eigenaar voor een betere wereld en doel, niet gericht op verdiensten van geld maar goede daden.
