Palestinian Anonymous ‘Hacktivists’ Take Over Ferguson’s Websites After Police Shooting Of Michael Brown

In response to the police shooting that killed an unarmed African-American teen, Michael Brown, protests in St. Louis have turned into a veritable uprising.  But now, some of the Anonymous members working on #OpFerguson, have announced that some “hacktivists” involved with the take-over of the City of Ferguson website, are in fact located within Palestine.

Eighteen-year-old Brown was shot to death by an unidentified Ferguson police officer on Saturday afternoon. The St. Louis County Police are doubling down on their claim that Brown physically assaulted the officer who confronted him for reasons that appear to be a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The police, however, say that Brown tried to reach for the officer’s weapon inside a police car. But both key eye witnesses said something very different. They claim that Brown was shot with his arms up as he tried to flee the officer’s gun fire.

Dorian Johnson says that he was walking in the street with Brown when an police confronted them. The officer drew his weapon and fired repeatedly.

“He [the officer] shot again and once my friend felt that shot, he turned around and put his hands in the air,” Johnson said in an interview with local outlet, KMOV News 4. “He started to get down and the officer still approached with his weapon drawn and fired several more shots.”

“Police said Brown pushed the officer back into the police car,” KMOV reporters claim. “According to police, Brown then entered the officer’s vehicle and a struggle ensued over the officer’s weapon.

But St. Louis County NAACP President Esther Haywood said that Brown was “shot once by the officer and then an additional nine times as he [lay] in the street.”

Now, the “hacktivist” group known as Anonymous has taken over city of Ferguson websites. The hack took place late Sunday night after warning police that their treatment of protesters would have consequences.

None of the city’s emails were working by Monday morning after the group dropped an “email bomb.”

In letting the public know the national origins of some Anons involved in the hack, #Anonymous used the hashtag #Solidarity to speak out that the fight for JUSTICE in the United States is the same fight in Israel and Palestine!

SPREAD THE WORD and use hashtag #OpFerguson and #Solidary when you share!
